New Life Discipleship Studies
It is clear that the Great Commssion involves much more than evangelism. It envelops the entire Christian life. From the moment one is spiritually born again until the moment he dies, he will be learning the process of following Christ. We want to strive to help those who believe in Christ grow deep roots and develop into strong oaks of righteousness (Isaiah 61:3 [show] to grant to those who mourn in Zion–
to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness instead of mourning,
the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit;
that they may be called oaks of righteousness,
the planting of the LORD, that he may be glorified.
). The goal of this series is to offer practical tools that anyone can use to help others grow deep spiritual roots and learn to follow Christ.
