Meet at Summitview tomorrow at 8:30am.  We’ll divide and head to the projects from there.

There is a Rock Service Project Saturday starting at 8:50am at the Alpha Center (1212 S. College Ave).  Bring work gloves if you have them.

–Go west (left) from Hwy 287  onto Hwy 14 (go ~ 26 miles)

–Turn left at Pingree Park Rd / CR 63E (go about 4.5 miles)

–Turn right at CR 139 (go about 1/2 mile; the Rock campsite will be on the left)

Don’t Forget to Bring:

–tent for your group              –sleeping bag/sleeping pad/pillow

–water (~2 gallons)                 –water bottle

–eating utensils                       –clothing for warm and cold weather

–hiking/running shoes          –toilet paper

–Bible/journal/pen                 –flashlight/headlight

–bug spray                               –matches for your group

–towel                                        –knife/hatchet for your group

–toothbrush, etc.

–food (for 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 2 dinners)

–a smile

FYI, our serving plans have changed for this Saturday.  Our plan was to setup for VBS on Saturday from 8-4pm.  We will instead be doing setup SUNDAY from 1-5pm OR 6-10pm, as you are available.  There are going to be well over 200 youngsters coming to this big gospel event, so every hand of help and heart of faith is needed!

Also, if you have any weekday afternoons open, email JohnJLarsen@gmail.com, as we need a handful of Rockers to help do cleanup for each afternoon next Mon-Fri.

This Saturday we are doing a service project from 9-Noon down in Loveland.  We will be helping out at the Giving Garden, where we will plant vegetables that will be grown to give to the less fortunate in Loveland.

If you are interested in coming, please come to the Frat House by 8:30, when we will leave promptly to carpool down together!

The Rock’s Summer Infusion in Fort Collins gets rolling today at 5:30pm with a BBQ at the Frat house!  Come to find out more about the vision for the summer.

The Rock will be infusing Fort Collins with the love of Christ this summer. We’ll be growing in fellowship, learning about “being a laborer,” playing ultimate frisbee, having bar-b-ques, camping, serving Summitview Community Church and the Fort Collins community, helping with VBS, and much more! Our prayer is that this exciting summer will, above all, glorify Christ and bear eternal fruit for the Kingdom!

Because the south parking lot is reserved for people attending the CMA performance at Summitview this Friday, please park in the north parking lot (across the street) when you arrive for the Rock tomorrow.  The CMA event will be taking place in Summitview’s auditorium, so the Rock will be meeting in the gym! Please enter the building through the south gym doors so that we do not disrupt the CMA event.  Thanks all!
